‘Filling station careers‘ is a sector-specific solution for the basic and advanced training of filling station personnel developed by UNITIÂ (the Federal Association of Midsized Petroleum Companies) and the ICA (Institute of Culinary Art), in close coordination with the German midsize petroleum sector and the petroleum companies. Many filling station operators are having to face the challenge of finding qualified employees. One reason for that is the stricter requirements relating to the filling station as a workplace.
Given the food sector, which is becoming more and more important, and the multiplicity of operations, the complexity of tasks is on the increase. For a long time now, filling stations have not merely been offering a more and more diverse assortment of fuels. They have also become an indispensable venue for the local supply of travel necessities, including food and beverages.
So that filling station staff are able to cope with these challenges, UNITI has initiated an advanced training programme, in which eurodata has become involved as a sponsor. Now, as a concrete example, the company has taken on the sponsorship of the course being pursued by Jessica Meier. Christof Kurz, executive manager of eurodata, would like to offer her his sincere congratulations, as would Christine Walther of UNITI.
